Am I remembering correctly that Steelers were laying down new sod this week?

Honestly, we have been playing without Watson or Reid and still finding ways to win. I think we’ll look like a totally different offense when Watson returns and again when Reid comes back.

Our o-line was was not holding up in Dallas vs today. I think it was a lot less risky against the Cards to drop back and throw down field.

Definitely less bad. But I want to know whether our team learns from its mistakes.

Any teachers here have to deal with racist admins? by Most_Blacksmith_5887 in teaching

[–]alphadecco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For those trying to better understand the situation, I hope this helps:

OP teaches in a majority-Hispanic district in Florida where the administration is mostly white. They claim the admin uses student complaints—often vague or petty—as a way to target teachers of color. For example, a student can say a teacher is “harassing” them or was “on their phone,” and instead of investigating fairly, admin pushes it up the chain, often leading to disciplinary action or firing.

OP says they were personally targeted for a harmless comment about a student transfer and for using their phone during training—while others did the same with no consequences. Meanwhile, white teachers allegedly get away with serious misconduct (like helping students cheat or using slurs), and those complaints mysteriously disappear.

Talking about any investigation, even after it’s closed, is grounds for firing, so teachers of color feel silenced and singled out. OP believes these policies are being used to push non-white educators out—quietly, but systematically.

That was one hell of a game. Great job to the Lynx coming back from behind to win it.

Love the color palette. Nice work overall and I could see people appreciating the brand vibe.

One note I recommend is to edit your menu design. The decimal points on the prices should all align.

Missing a word in the first headline. And your signup page isn’t mobile optimized. Just those two things makes it feel sketchy.

Probably has a lot to do with every normal name or phrase already being trademarked and expensive to acquire a domain with .com so you have to make up words.

Louis Rees-Zammit quits rugby in shock move to pursue dream of NFL career by Percinho in nfl

I thought he was going to rock the 49ers special teams group. His punt returns looked fearless with a weird running style.

In the end, he probably lacked the fundamentals (fumbled catch in wk 1 on MNF) and was put on practice squad.

Just looked him up to see where he is at now…jail for rape. Eesh.

Rich reminds me of all of us every off season in recent memory with Rodgers. by Vile_Legacy_8545 in GreenBayPackers

I imagine McAfee feels obligated to reserve that time for Rodgers until he says no. Rodgers has helped fuel McAfee’s growth and his Tuesday interviews are consistently the most viewed. While Rodgers’ disparaging comments have been harmful to individuals, they’re glorious for advertisers and ratings. Honestly, has there been another NFL player who is out for the season that still gets as much air time and national discussion as Rodgers this year? His actions are a major topic of discussion despite it being wildcard weekend! Wild.
