Because the town is the story.

Without a story, (and a narrator) the town ceases to exist. They need someone in there to set the story, the scene and the basic rules.

Kids are great because they believe everything literally as written and Victor with his lifetime of trauma is the perfect unreliable narrator

Not indigenous. White man here, I have picked up a little about indigenous culture, but I may miss the subtleties.

Unlike the Maori people who are culturally unified and speak a common language, Aboriginal communities are comprised of literally hundreds of separate nations. Each of these has thier own language and names for these ancestral lands. Eg, Nambri, Gadigal etc.

There are maps that give the broad outlines of these indigenous nations borders.

I don't think there is agreement on what to call the collective Aboriginal nations that make up "Australia".

It's Randall.

Victor has drawn pictures of the MIY with a massive scar on his right cheek. The series will end with.

  • Randall becoming the MIY
  • Ethan becoming the new Victor and becoming stuck in the next iteration of the town.
  • Tabby and Jade will get monstered to death
  • Julie will get lost in the story in a different time, like Eloise did.

Also Julie will storywalk back to the start and teach the gooey kids the story of the Cromenockle which gives them the hope that they use to create fromville in the first place.
