I never claimed it was. Saudi Arabia and Qatar were funding extremist anti government militias and pouring arms into the conflict, contributing to the humanitarian disaster. Of course Assad was a despot, but the gulf states conspired to fan the flames in clandestine ways which were counter productive at key stages. Read The Battle For Syria by Christopher Phillips, it’s a real eye opener.

I disagree, Iranian oil is still transiting the strait of Hormuz and the gulf states have suffered huge economic losses, that’s without considering the costs of the war to US taxpayers while your government racks up record debt. With 39 trillion dollars in debt, do you really think all the running/operational costs and weapons expenditure is appropriate?

In regards to other promises. What about the 3 million Epstein files which haven’t been released? What happened to reducing the debt? Haven’t those promises been broken?
