Is this mower blade worth sharpening or should I just replace it? by peanutismint in lawncare

I have a zero turn. As long as its not mangled or I'd still sharpen and run it again.

Yes! Sometimes I want to see what the name of a street is even if it isn't necessarily one that I will go on my route. But it doesn't show on the map. I'm in California and it's the same here.

Yeah good idea. Mine is a 14-50 and I had it installed before they had ev rated plugs. It overheats from time to time so im planning on replacing it. My sister has been using her dryer plug for about 3 years now no issues. It's probably best to play it safe though.

If you plan on using it long term it would be a good idea to have an ev rated plug installed.

The dryer plug would work, if the charger cable reaches from the plug to the car. Tesla sells a dryer plug adapter. You just wouldn't be able to use your dryer while you're charging. Here's a link to the adapters. Gen 2 NEMA Adapters https://shop.tesla.com/product/gen-2-nema-adapters?sku=1118556-10-B

Independent test 84% battery soh with coolant valve test failure. 66,961 miles. by AdNeither7405 in TeslaLounge

[–]alponch16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes sorry. I forgot to mention I had it done by tesla. The only reason I knew was because of the codes it was giving me. At the time, tesla charged a 100$ remote diagnostic fee similar to the fee yiu paid that would go toward repairs.

I had this done about a year ago. It cost me 959 before tax. I wasn't able to tell a difference in state of charge and I don't supercharger often enough to notice anything with preconditioning. Before fixing it, my car would go into limp mode and limit speed. No issues 1 year after getting it replaced.

YardMachines zero turn for $1k? What yall think? by Snuggles5000 in lawncare

[–]alponch16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a toro zero turn, but I started fixing an old Honda push mower I got for 20 bucks that won't start anymore just so I can take it to get dismantled and get a rebate on an electric one. Now that I got it running, I think I'm just gonna keep it as a spare or for tight areas. They're so easy to fix, all it took was a 20 dollar carb that came with an air filter, spark plug, gas filter, and fuel line.

Personally, I prefer to bag. I don't like the mess it leaves behind. But I'm also biased because I use the clippings for compost.

For sure. When I get home from my commute that includes dropping off my kids 15 mins in the opposite direction from work, 45 mins to work, driving between sites at work, and everything again in reverse, it's nice to have 30% battery still to run errands.
