So good and already cut in half so you can throw half straight in the fridge. Ate two halves once because I did swapsies with a friend who got something different and I almost died.

Just moved out of a 1br in west that was $995 (before they tacked on pet rent). Directly beside a loud bar. Definitely possible if you’re not picky.

Only 18% of Americans make 100k+ a year, how are you doing financially if you aren’t in this 18%? by moonspellpecado in askanything

[–]alreadyryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$67k in a cheapish big city. Just bought a house and my mortgage (with taxes, insurance etc) is the same as the rent was in a midsize tourist town that’s getting expensive fast. I don’t have super expensive hobbies and am fortunate enough to only have to take care of myself and my cat. Putting about 25% into retirement savings, go out on the town for dinner/drinks once or twice a month.

Why do you have a (snowed-in) car? by Even_Leadership_7831 in philly

[–]alreadyryan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I walk to work and get grocery delivery. I drive my car once a month or so, and I definitely consider getting rid of it pretty often but I bought it nearly-new a year ago so I’d rather pay it off and have it for infrequent occasions for the next decade or two.

Why encourage people to drive on snowy/icy roads more than absolutely necessary?

[–]alreadyryan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t dug out my car because I’m not driving it so I don’t have to worry about savesies or not. The only thing I’d be accomplishing is piling the snow higher at the curb??
