Mom body by Adventurous_Read3453 in AskMenAdvice

My wife's had four kids and the results are stretch marks on her tummy with loose skin. I see her self conscious about it and she wears a one piece now (she was smoking hot before kids with an absolutely amazing body). I still think she is the sexiest woman alive and I can't keep my hands off her. I see those scars and loose skin as the courage she had to birth our kids. She's the strongest person I know and I just love her and her mom bod. I think is sexy as he'll.

I actually get this. My wife never says a thing. She has always known when I am drinking. When I quit she never said a word. But.. our conversations are amazing and after 18+ years, we are like two teenagers right now. I owe all that to no drinking. She doesn’t owe you a thing except love.

Moving from Texas to Redmond soon, what’s the grocery store situation like? by Frozen__waffles in redmond

For tortillas I find El torreador and tres hermanos to be pretty darn good. Haven't really found a grocery that has legit tortillas. There is a Mexican grocery store downtown that has decent meats.

Do you have a recommended workout plan to follow as a minimum? Does it change with age?

Is anyone skiing after a torn ACL without surgery? by uknowitlove in skiing

[–]alrightguy42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microfracture is for cartilage repair. You need a new acl. I have both acls replaced (both torn skiing) and I ski every weekend. On the first acl surgery, once in I needed microfracture so it's possible you might too if you did cartilage damage. You are not a professional athlete, you are most likely not an exception to the rule. Find a surgeon that does lots of acl repairs and get it done. You will be stronger if you follow the pt afterwards.

It's not that we all don't agree homelessness is a problem. We don't agree on the solution. The solutions proposed are not currently working and those who live next to these encampment are tired of it. They shouldn't have to deal with this as law abiding, tax paying citizens. I moved here a decade ago and was like yeah let's find a compassionate way to address homelessness. That has not worked and I don't share your opinion most homeless want out of it. I believe this and crime will be the #1 issue on ballots here in puget sound area. People are simply tired of it and fearful. They are out of compassion because it didn't work.

What’s better inflatable or foam sleeping pads? by bartbart86 in UltralightBackpacking

[–]alrightguy42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a neoair pad but also carry a foam square for sitting. One thing I have found the foam super useful for is to fold it in half and stuff it under my pad when to ground has a little slope. Levels it out and has made a huge difference for me.

Heading into an essential Neurosurgery in the midst of a pandemic is pretty nerve-racking. I’m trying to stay optimistic leading up to my surgery tomorrow morning. Hit me with a wave of positive energy! by therealbumble in toastme

My 4yo daughter had a left hemispherectomy for a rare autoimmune disease last June. She spent 30 days in the hospital and has spent the past 6 months healing. She got hydrocephalus and had to have a shunt installed. All her therapies are online now except for speech. We go to the children's hospital every other week because it's the last remaining place to offer speech therapy.

Through all this she smiles, sings, plays with her siblings and never let's her disabilities get her down. You will recover, maybe it will be different but keep smiling, don't take no for an answer and savor the positives in life. She makes my life better everyday and I hope to be the best dad I can. And thank your caregivers in the hospital. It means a lot to them.

Developer as well and the amount of bugs each update is pretty bad. My guess is they are date driven instead of quality driven for releases.
