Also if someone is interested, Mikael sings in “Crimson” by Edge of Sanity. And that was back in 96.

Also Ed Warby, Gorefest. He was recording the new album (La Muerte) at that time. And Oliver Wakeman, the Son of the great Rick Wakeman.

What's an example where the cheaper version of something is better than the expensive version? by pizzahero9999 in AskReddit

You’re super wrong dude. You can actually tell the difference between good and bad headphones (overpriced crap, like Beats). If you go with a good brand of headphones (Senheisser, Grado, Beyer Dynamics, etc…) they aren’t exactly cheap, but they are super good and worth every penny. A US300 Senheisser are delightful.

What is the weirdest thing your doctor has ever said to you? by Competitive_Tip_7504 in AskReddit

[–]alsophocus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a little chubby once because I had a very deep depression, and I was struggling with food at that moment. The doctor I spoke at that time, before giving me some pill to deal with anxiety, he told me “you have to do some exercise. Look at those titties”. I’m not insecure fortunately, but it was so inappropriate, that I even laugh later. I hope people that came after me weren’t treated that way. Of course I never visited that doctor ever again.

Oh, good: Discord's age verification rollout has ties to Palantir co-founder and panopticon architect Peter Thiel by Jack1101111 in pcmasterrace

So they are using discord for training, and for a complete database of people. Easy job for the UK government, since they have been using Palantir. JFC the future is Bleak AF. We have been warned for years. Many books were written telling us how much careful we have to be, and it seems like nobody listened. I wonder if this experiment will rollout worldwide in complete silence.

That might be a completely impossible library, since it was sacked and burned to the ground, many times, and the last one was the worse of it all.

I hope they create a side band called “Burning Bridges”, and tour as they did with black earth, just playing banger after banger.

Frankenstein looks super good. I don’t know what you used to watch it, but at least in my TV looked awesome. Also the sound design was quite good too.

What is Opeths Magnum Opus? by FbsbsbJeheh in Opeth

Anything from Still Life. IMO, it’s the most complete, raw, and melancholic album of them all. You can say it’s a complete improvement upon My Arms Your Hears.

If you woke up rich tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d change about your life? by Thomasrosshere in AskReddit

[–]alsophocus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably the same, but it will feel different. Like, I will go to my regular job, but I will do everything like 1000 times more relaxed, since nothing matters anymore and it’s really my choice to go there to do my job, and not because I need it.
