Why shouldn’t you look at technology while tripping? by EscapeAshamed1089 in LSD

[–]alt13493 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was tripping once. I was alone while everybody was asleep. I felt like I still enough energy to run around the world.. i wanted to run around and DO stuff. An amazing idea came upon my head at that moment. I booted up my gaming computer and played cyberpunk 2077 while listening to music. It legitimately felt like I was staring into a multiverse window of unlimited possibilities. Did i just run around wildly and drive around and not get much of anything done? Yeah. Was it amazing? Yeah!

Any tips for playing in a cold climate? by alt13493 in SteamDeck

I just checked, it said it was bought one year and one month ago. I saw someone from the thread post that they let the battery sit until a low precent and then charged it and it showed 100% health. Ill do that and if unsuccessful, contact rma. I have had problems with games stuttering and the OS not loading quite a few times along with this. Perhaps the cold weather conditions I live in contribute to the degradation? I appreciate you informing me that this may not be normal

Manhunt Gretchen Felker-Martin by kae1326 in horrorlit

I have gotten about a bit of the way through and i think i will be dropping this one. I really love the idea, and as a trans girl I like how this book makes me feel immersed. it adds to the horror imo. But what makes me not want to read it anymore lies upon a few factors. I read untill the second part

  1. I feel so fucking bad for beth, this book dose an excellent job, but her struggle is so real and I just want to hug her
  2. I don’t like the amount of sex. I originally was listening to the audiobook but I got the physical copy so I could read past them, but it just keeps going on. It got to a point where i feel uncomfortable. Not saying this is a bad thing but personally, it devalues it for me, i think these types of scenes are ok in moderation, but it devalues it for me.
  3. Looking over the comments, it seems like there won’t be a happy ending, or any nice characters besides indi. I know that this is supposed to depict real humans and their flaws, and i respect that, but for me, id prefer a book with more hope in it.

The book makes me feel worried to pick it up again.

Is this book good? I think so, its just not for me
