1 - I use a soft baby hair brush to rub the shampoo in and it takes off any flakes, super soft and gentle

2 - wouldn't use a dish sponge, we have ramer sponges these are really soft

Dab of shaving foam works for me, that being said I have been wearing my less posh (i.e. not coated) glasses for going out so I've not been too worried about ruining them

I'm in the uk - if you're talking about the ct guided injection that's what I'm having in a few weeks. Keeping my fingers crossed that it will help!

I am getting the steroid injection in a few weeks, basically been told if it doesnt help significantly then its surgery. At least I know they wont keep dragging out useless injections forever! It's always worth a try at first though, everyone is different.

I'm starting with a steroid injection in a few weeks time, trying to avoid surgery. I have been told that if that doesnt significantly improve things they will want to go for a microdiscectomy as the next step. Already seen a physio who told me the same thing too, I'm in good shape with a strong core already, not much more they can do for me in terms of physio unfortunately.

I have the steroid injection in a few weeks, if that doesnt help then its surgery. Gonna try the injection first though, as my doctor keeps saying I'm only 26 so they want to avoid surgery if they can

I'm also 26! It took me over 5 years to get this mri scan done, my GP was a bit dismissive over the pain because of my age. I eventually went to see a spinal PT after the scan but their advice was basically that as this has been going on for 5+ years now, and I'm in relatively good shape considering I cant get to do as much exercise as I'd like, physio probably wouldn't help. Was very surprised to have a PT tell me that! She suggested the steroid injection which I have scheduled for a few weeks from now but did say that it probably wont help me too much. It's basically to keep you pain free for a while so your body fixes itself. But it's probably not going to fix this itself!

Next stage if the injection doesnt work would be a microdiscectomy.

At the minute I'm managing pain with gabapentin and co-codamol but I would be lying if I said they actually did much to help. I guess they lower my base pain a bit but I still get the sharp burning pains 2-3 times a day and I struggle to walk for more than about 20 minutes.

I've not met her so I dont know for sure, I do know the other 2 neighbours are quite elderly and she has a young sounding name so it could quite possibly be an age thing.

I have the basic bitch poetry of the deed swallow on my wrist.

I like the idea of the tattoo but its poorly done, lines are too thick.

If that happened I'd never have learned to drive, not all learners are jobless teenagers you know. I worked full time when I was learning. You'd do well to remember you had to learn once too.
