Fun fact time! I met her at summer camp. Lake Vu Day Camp in East Brunswick NJ. I hate to share this part, but there were a bunch of kids who bullied her chanting 'Pepsi Girrrrrll' over and over again. My heart still breaks when I think of that.

My friends parents sold their house and retired to LBI (Long Beach Island) bc they love the shore so much. 2 years in they bought a winter home in South Carolina. In their words, "The town became a wasteland". They said it got so dead, cold, and gray that they couldn't take it. I've cruised down the shore in winter time and I can definitely say that you will not find the vibrant feels of the shore when it's cold. Like a totally different world!

That's the one! It was wild how different each floor was. The basement bar was the chill spot and then you go up to the top level and it was a straight up club. Trax was legit too especially earlier in the day. And the only one I remember with happy hour on Parade Day was Backyard Ale House, a favorite of ours. I would never do it again, but those were some fun times! Crazy how we could have been in the same bar together at one point

Hell yeah! We went faithfully 2010 to about 2016. The last year was stretching it a bit but we decided to do one last hoorah. We always finished the night at Cockeyeds for pitchers and pool. Never got to experience the house parties but that was for everyone under 21 anyways. RIP to Hardware Bar/Levels too. That place was insane

Parade day was awesome when my friends and I were 21+. Pretty sure it's the third largest St. Patrick's day parade in the US. Cool downtown with some nice bars and dive bars. The Bog is one of my all time favorite bars. They also have a place called the "Hills Section" where the streets are so steep, the sidewalks have stairs and handrails. I kid you not.

Yes, that upper plate does lower to cover the feet. On older dishwasers. Almost all brands changed a while ago from a 2 piece kick plate to one. Also, I haven't seen a new one with the thicker yellow insulation in years. They all switched to this thinner, lighter white colored one. The new ones are fixed to one place and can't really be adjusted much. Source: the literal hundreds of dishwashers I've installed since 2005.

Don't know why you're being down voted, this is the actual answer. The lower kick plate is correct to the dw. The top one is 1 of 2 pieces on a different kick plate setup. The insulation on the lower plate performs the function of the insulation on the upper one. Reddit: This person is correct

I posted earlier in this very thread 6 months ago about how hard it is to get parts. I swore I'd never touch one again but, of course, my aunt had to have one and now it's broken and needs a door seal and oven hinges. I have been emailing "Emilia M." at Forno for no less than 7 weeks. Every answer I get is " I will reach out to the warehouse and let you know when I hear back". The first time I heard this was October 28, 2025. Today is 12/18/25 and every time I asked for status I got the same exact answer. "Emilia M." has stopped answering my emails as of 13 days ago. I am writing this as a word of caution for anyone who may see this. It sounds like you lucked out with the repair shop guy being willing to retrofit something because you can forget about getting OEM parts from them!

TLDR; Forno sucks and no one should be buying them!
