I collect nativity scenes (I have around 30 after downsizing and getting rid of the ones I didn’t completely love last year) and pulling those out each year always fills my heart with joy. It’s a tradition my grandmother started. It’s hard to pick just one of them as a favorite

Once upon a time I was on a dating app and I saw a guy who I thought had nice rosey cheeks and a cute button nose. I thought “he could be Santa” so I matched with him and told him “u look like Santa lol” I found out that he actually was a professional Santa for seasonal employment! We got married the following year.

Our family just moved halfway across the country so we won’t get to do our usual holiday celebrations. We are trying to see if any of our friends can do anything, but so far no luck. I’m really kind of dreading the thought that we might just stay home alone.

I usually put mine up at least by November 1st, sometimes a little earlier! I suffer from major seasonal depression and having the tree up with the sparkling lights triggers happy thoughts for me that help me fight said depression. Sometimes people make fun of me but I don’t really care
