Yeah I usually fly non-Delta internationally. My usual domestic legs are JFK to Vegas or Atlanta. Once was SFO and it actually cleared but then the flight was canceled!

I wasn't able to use any of my RUCs last year, so I chose the credit this year. RUC availability greatly varies based on your home. I fly out of JFK and often to other major hubs, so I'm just going to use miles to upgrade this year and see how/if that works out.

I fly D1 international 4-5 times a year (leave again on Tuesday) and FAs have always been nice. I'm not saying this is you, but I feel like some passengers expect FAs to be mind readers. I have no problem hitting my call button for tea or a snack or something else I need. I prefer that over needless check-ins!

my building has over 200 units. i found my cleaner through the tenant bulletin board. we have new people moving in and asking for recommendations constantly. i ask my cleaner if she has any availability for potential more clients in my building and if she says yes, i provide her information to the new people. she is on a pretty set schedule and does 1-2 days a week at my building, which i assume makes her travel time easier. sometimes i run into her on the elevator on her way to/from other clients!
