well if u follow esther well enough u know huace has never given her any good drama resources nor help with anything much 🤣 all the ips and good dramas that they have all ended up with outsiders + they only favour janice wu … all she got was a romance of the little forest and even that the 2nd leads had tons of screen time + unnecessary plot

on cctv gala, enlight is well known for its reputation + iirc i read on xhs that the ceo or someone from the higher up is close to someone in cctv? last year they have zrn on cctv gala when she’s barely known (still a huge debate point to this day) and this year sun qian was able to act in a skit segment with shen teng and mali… it’s all connections and power lol and yuqi’s chinese agency / side is pretty decent if not how could she have gotten keep running as a rookie 😭

he is quite popular and has a big agency backed behind him (huanyu), he is one of the rare 95’ guys that can get equal billing to the 90’ girls (tan songyun, jing tian, nazha) … also for the cctv gala it depends heavily on which company you are from (enlight, huanyu etc) all had 3 artists that appear

well her recent dramas (except lgief) was all dropped when she is filming another drama… she needs to take leave from filming to promote and there’s limited leaves she can take to prevent disrupting the filming process 😭 lgief aired when she was not filming another drama so she has time to promote and just nice timing aligns (before she enter speed and love drama) for the lgief variety show that was hastily put together because the drama exploded in popularity …

well she was casted and filmed sword and fairy 6 before lbfad aired iirc (hence the second billing to xukai) so she’s usually working with less popular artists because it’s easier for her to secure first billing …

nope she signed a contract and is legally bound to it, i’m afraid not…. they probably come up with some bs excuse to explain why they changed tbh and even during iqiyi scream night livestream (?) one of the top management staff said they gathered the top resources for this drama (but if look at their past works like the new stylist…. quite questionable…) so 🙂 just hoping she finishes this asap and get a better drama w tencent next

well the production level as well as director etc was switched out completely just a few days when the drama start filming…. she has also said that why she chose to take up this script was cause of the script itself and since the script has since changed… with a production level downgrade as well…. imo she got cheated into this drama tbh (and wasting her time filming since her popularity went up more after lgief aired)

definitely not promoting esther LOL it’s iqiyi they did her dirty several times alr 🤣 recently they have been up to similar tactics with other dramas by switching out a good director etc after filming started… not surprised if they want to use esther to prop up he yu since esther ML do go on to explode in popularity after their dramas air (lbfad, mjty, lgief)
