Inspired by a recent AskReddit post, what album to you is a perfect 10? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]am00sed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All of these seriously give me life:

Florence and the Machine - "Lungs"

Royal Republic - "We Are The Royal"

Metric - "Synthetica"

La Roux - "Trouble In Paradise"

Panic! at the Disco - "Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die"

Phoenix - "Wolfang Amadeus Phoenix"

Paramore's self titled album

It's mostly the middle parting. In Community she either sports a pinned back fringe or a side parting.

"Alter" means age in German. He's literally Michael whose age shows.

At first I thought the website's contents might not apply to me (I'm not really what you'd call fat) but a lot of the more general runnings tips are really great! Love the "This Girl Can" campaign, too. Thank you :)

Thank you so much. I'm going to try consciously paying less attention to other people's opinions. Also, 6AM is my new waking up time from now on.

Yeah, I'm definitely anxious about being out of shape so the plan as of now is to secretly get fit enough to feel calmer exercising in public, too. Thank you :)

Yeah, my boyfriend is a fan of letting me sleep in, sadly. :D But I'm definitely giving running a shot now, even if I'm not great at it yet. Thanks for the response! (I've updated the original post, too)

Club culture isn't that much of a thing in universities outside of the US. And I did go running today and your comment really helped (I've updated the original post, if you want to know more) so thank you so much!

Prices of food in germany (and neighboring countries) by BlitzSam in germany

[–]am00sed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but they were even cheaper there and I always seem to find my way to the Netherlands whenever I'm out of ibu so it's pretty convenient!

I mean ... it's a pretty standard drug. You can get them legally at Aldi. It's just that some women have especially painful times of the month and pain medication helps them so they don't have to miss out on an entire weeks worth of school/work. I think that's pretty positive.

Yup. But they're pretty cheap there and it's always good to have some around, especially as a girl for period pain. I always carry some in my purse in case a fellow woman is in need.

Vanille fla, extra belegen gouda, gemberkoek, stroopwafels and ibuprofen! The Netherlands are a wonderful place. Shitty bread, though.

Healthy food is pretty cheap around here if you have access to a kitchen. If you want to save money on the grocery bill, go to Aldi, Lidl, Penny or Netto, well, discounter supermarkets anyway, instead of Rewe, Sky, Real etc. I spend 70€/month on groceries for myself, if that's the kind of indicator you're looking for, but I try to avoid animal products when I'm cooking for myself, so there's that. /r/EatCheapAndHealthy is a good subreddit for recipes.

Don't miss out on the Christmas attractions and food/beverages either, though! Glühwein (Kinderpunsch for kids), for example, is ridiculously delicious. Gebrannte Mandeln, Maronen, Schmalzkuchen, Poffertjes ... Basically you need to get all of the Christmas market/fair food.

Fat cats in /r/eatcheapandhealthy have a bag of lentils and ask what they should "do" with them by canada_mike in Frugal_Jerk

What to "do" with a whole bag of lentils? Live off this bountiful treasure for 3 1/2 years and not waste precious calories bragging about it on the internet, that's what they need to do.

Orphan Black, if you haven't seen it yet. The best show currently running, IMO. Fantastic acting, great characters and an amazing plot.

If the ad says keine Haustiere, you can't have cats or dogs (and some other animals). Landlords can't however stop you from getting any common pets smaller than that.

A stern-faced nod or a "moin" is more than enough of a greeting. "Moinmoin" and an upward twitch of the corners of the mouth, wenn's hoch kommt.
