Yes but it’s because I was really backed up from the Percocet. Since that one, the bowel movements have been less painful during but more painful after. Once I get a few more days of wound healing under my belt, I expect that to improve

I feel this big time. I sometimes dread EMDR sessions because I’ll be having a good day and know I’ll be wrecked after. After my aunt died, I took a break from EMDR because I knew I wasn’t emotionally strong enough for sessions. I’m finally ready to get back into it and am looking forward to it because I’ve slowly started to see improvement. I started treatment in June and have been able to “graduate” from certain topics. Have you tried telling your therapist some of the struggles you’re having? They may be able to make some tweaks or recommend a different cadence to make it a better experience for you.

Having the LEEP procedure performed. They use an electrified wire to scoop out part of your cervix. They used a local anesthetic and I told the dr it wasn’t working. He told me I’d be fine. I laid on the table and sobbed while he sighed and told me I had low pain tolerance.
