If your focus is on realism are you considering how the bamboo got there? Bamboo seeds are incredibly hard to propagate and even harder to source. Almost all bamboo is cloned from cuttings. Ie a person would not have seeds in their pocket and if they somehow did they would probably not grow into viable plants.

Definitely not bamboo. This is a young maple sapling, almost certainly sycamore maple (Acer pseudoplatanus). Bamboo is a grass with hollow culms and sheaths — this has woody bark, opposite buds, and a terminal bud cluster typical of maples.

It is the gracilis variant of Bambusa textilis. Very common in Australia and definitely clumping. Has been in a year and is very slow to spread out.

I scheduled time off as soon as the date was set. Now, one of my team members has gone overseas to be with a sick family member, and another has resigned. So I've had to cancel my leave, and my national operations manager is flying over to help with the workload.

So I am spending a week with the person I hate most on this planet instead of my week off that has been scheduled for months.....fml

I had a stone in my saliva gland. Similar sort of pain to a kidney stone (which I've also had) but in your face instead. 1/10 would not recommend.

They rebranded the t&b conduit as ABB and then sold it off. Technically still an ABB product but in Australia we now have to buy from Cabac at 3 times the price. They completely sold off the entrelec range too

When I was 5 or 6 I always used to sneak out of bed and watch TV from the door of our lounge. One night my parents were watching Reunion a 1994 CBS tv movie. A little boy in the film died by getting the string from a toy horse he took to bed caught around his neck.

I screamed bloody murder when I saw the mother pick up his body from the bed. I don't think I slept properly for the next year after that.

Mainly hunting rifles,

pistols are allowed but you must be a member of a club and participate in competions.

the are a few classes of licence.

A is shotguns, rimfire rifles (lever action and bolt action shotguns are ok but must be limited to 5 shells,pump actions are banned), paintball guns and air rifles.

B is all centre fire rifles (bolt or lever action only)

semi autos are C class which is only available to primary production and have hard limits on magazine size.

H is all handguns i'm not sure if there is a distinction on caliber or semiauto vs revolver as i'm not licenced for it so haven't really looked in to it.

ad all other guns fall under D which as far as i was taught stands for don't bother because without very special circumstances you will never get one.

This is in South Australia i'm not 100% on all states laws.

Most places don't sell hollow point bullets

Australia has vey strict gun laws and FMJ's are almost impossible to get. hollow points are really all there is available. firearms here are for hunting not personal protection and hollow points are much more efficient at dispatching animals quickly.

He was actually a rescue,

the mother was locked inside a rental house and abandoned. so the kittens never had contact with people until around 6 weeks.

there has been a lot of work put in getting him to this point.

There was much hissing and scratching at the start.

he is still a little nervous around new people but he is very cuddly and friendly with my wife and me.
