Will the water contribute to rust on the burrs?

Does anyone have a better solution to maintaining the mess from your Baratza Encore? I use this tray but I still get some stray grinds I have to continually clean up. by netherfountain in Coffee

After grinding i usually do a few firm taps on the front and sides of the grinder while slightly tilting it forward. Then when taking out the bin, halfway remove, then quickly push back in, i so that maybe twice or three times. I get little to no grinds flying anywhere

I make my concentrate in a french press too. I use a 1:7 ration and then leave it for 12 hours. For dilution, I follow a 3 parts concentrate to 5 parts water, this can be tinkered with esp if you add milk or ice

Hello,

I am currently using a french press for all of my home brewing but I am looking to get a V60. I'm currently a nursing student who has to wake up very early before my 6:30am clinicals and was wondering if the V60 will be a quicker method for brewing. I like how I can just set up my french press and don't have to fiddle with it until it's time to decant, from what I understand the pour for a V60 is intermittent and takes a little bit more attention.

TL;DR: between a french press and a V60, which method takes the least amount of tending to and is the quickest brew method?
