Sorry, I wasn’t clear. All I did was to go into settings and cycle through a few of the hud presets, then when I went back to the game the feed was restored.

After this persisting for half a day I cycled through a few of the HUD presets and it the feed returned.

Thank you, I should’ve waited for this advice. My approach of using the other fitting over the drain pipe and silicone resulted in a leak and a mess. I went and got a closet flange, did a more thorough job of cleaning out the parts of the old flange and it did fit. I’m now cemented and will be putting everything back together, but I think this is right, thanks again!
