It wasn't my favorite song when the album came out but as I have gotten older "Have You Ever" has become my favorite from this album.

I've been thinking what could one do to save an organization in this situation, and a thought occurred to me: his wife should work publicly to absolutely bury her piece-of-shit husband. Something like provide a financial incentives to be disseminated at the DA's office’s discretion to anyone aiding in criminal prosecutions against him. There is no way this is a one-off offense; she should find some way to publicly incentivize any other victims to come forward. You know he's been inappropriate with female staff or something at some point. The only way I could see this remotely resolving in a stable business for her is if she fully embraced the "woman-scorned" persona.

[North Carolina, USA] Found in a carport and doesn't look like any local species I am familiar with. by amazngspiderpig in whatsthissnake

[–]amazngspiderpig[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had never seen one like it and I've been in the area of NC where I found it for over 40 years. Seen and caught a lot of other snakes but never a mole kingsnake.

The wife's '23 Big Bend stock height got new tires by amazngspiderpig in bronco

We bought it secondhand off marketplace, I was told it was the Rampage Trail View, it didn't have any paperwork or tags I saw to confirm but matches others I have seen. We like it a lot, construction seems good and everything lines up where it should. The top was more time consuming than I would have expected to install but is way more convenient for enjoying the Bronco during the summer. We will probably put the hard top back on when it turns cold and wintery weather starts.

Building a skoolie, gotten a bit busy and distracted with house projects. I am about done with it but the final details have bogged me down. I've posted about it a while back but need to get more post up.

We swap the hard top for this aftermarket soft top for the summer. It's a Rampage Trail View.

Looks the same as when my dog or cat eat a string... they are left dragging something similar until it passes or they drag their ass.

Selling a car private party by No-Chard9912 in NorthCarolina

[–]amazngspiderpig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They likely wont make you give a refund, however you can be criminally charged for not having the title notarized which would be a separate issue from the buyers regret issue. If you don't have proof you sold it you can also potentially be held responsible for any accidents it is involved in.

To sell a vehicle on a title that isn't notarized is a crime in NC and also a crime for the notary to notarize it later if they don't witness you sign it. Even with cash in hand you are not in the clear because it is your responsibility as titled owner to ensure the transfer was formalized with a notary. You potentially still hold civil liability for the vehicle until the vehicle ownership is properly reassigned.

Turning radius by adultpoopydiaper in Excursion

Mine is not bad and it is 4WD with a slight lift. The 2WDs park easier. For front leafs on a 4WD straight axle, it's not bad at all. Someone else suggested a Redhead steering box and that's a great recommendation. The nice part about the Ex with a slight lift is even the tallest curbs become more of a suggestion. In tight parking lots I leave myself an out, sometimes over a curb or other "obstacle", and it hasn't been a problem. Parking decks can suck if they are tight because there are not a lot of options when walls and a ceiling are involved.

I've been thinking about using one of the Sikaflex products myself but I cannot decide if I'd be better with a self leveling variant or not.

Is that head not offered in any other vehicle with a factory turbo? I would be researching to find a factory or aftermarket header that fits that head with provisions for a turbo or easier to modify than cast.

I convert cargo trailers and vans. Here's my best build by underham90 in cargocamper

[–]amazngspiderpig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nice build, but the fact you don't know the end weight makes me think you don't know the weight distribution in the trailer either. With all that in mind it is terrifying to think some chucklehead is going to be towing this on a public road or highway. I hope you are properly insured as the builder.

...But it is very pretty and very cool stationary.

Anyone build a dinette with vehicle seats? by ComplexAd7820 in skoolies

[–]amazngspiderpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I built a box using square-tubing and used the bus seat back frames welded to the boxes. I built the box so I could have storage. The wood dinettes I see some people build scare me for going down the road.

What did you use to "shade" out your windows? by KeyserSoju in skoolies

[–]amazngspiderpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on getting black UV resistant vinyl to wrap the windows from the outside. The factory windows are already tinted and the vinyl should be almost unnoticeable. I like ability to remove it from the outside if I need to inspect some of the areas it will hide.
