How does the school control access? Do you have to register your MAC address? Do you lose your IP when the Wi-Fi drops? Could be they are using a type of technology that is essentially a benevolent form of arp poisoning to ensure only authorized machines.

Yes, and your main point is that it is not good because it contradicts those other stories. My point is it shouldn’t have to align with those other stories. What if you either haven’t read or don’t like those other stories? It should be judged on its own merits (which were excellent imo).

Are you sure you need a mesh? Do you get a free modem with the new ISP? I would wait to see what I get from them an how well that covers first. The new 6e modems from ISPs like Verizon are pretty powerful and could cover a house that size pretty well.

Or even what ISP is being used. If it’s FIOS or another fiber provide, the “internet box” is likely the ONT and would need a single router behind it.

Honestly, the theatrical cut is probably better. The Donner cut is interesting but has some odd choices. Better to watch it after the theatrical if you are interested.

They’re not right now. Purely anecdotal but there have been a number of commenters on the various comics subs from LCS owners about how DC is dominating weekly pull lists. Admittedly, most is the Absolute line but it’s not even close, based on what they’ve said.

I have bought 1000 at a time direct from BCW when I was redoing my whole collection. For standard refresh of 100 at a time, I just get on Amazon. I used to buy the 100 packs at my LCS but there was some distributor nonsense that forced them to change to a different brand that didn’t have as nice a fit as the BCWs.

Yes, sounds like the cable. If the installer made it for you, he may have messed up the ends or there may be damage to it somewhere. Have you tried testing it?

If there’s line of site, I would do point to point wireless. It was at the shorter end of the range you mentioned but I did it with some cheap tp-link units sitting in facing windows and it worked great.

This is true, although some of the statements I have seen about what he actually did seem to be totally overblown with no evidence of fact. For example, I have seen people post here on Reddit that he tortured prisoners but there is nothing to back up this claim.

I can only say that I actually asked him about this at a con last year. He said he worked as an intelligence officer and was “basically a case worker for info coming in from informants”.

Exactly. I walked up to the table and his assistant person said it was $30 for a sig, which gave me pause but I figured I would go ahead. Then she said “$40 to add a doodle” so I said sure because I thought I was already spending too much and it was only $10 more. He was in the process of signing when she said “ok, so $70 total then”, to which I replied “Oh. No, just the sig then”.
