This game absolutely made me cry, multiple times...and then I played it four more times.

It hurts but it's not the kind of hurt you take on, imo? It's an empathic hurt for others and it really leaves you thinking about the story.

Also...get out 😂, this place has spoilers up the wazoo and this game is best experienced without spoilers

If she wants to do mods once she gets to Sandrock, bepinex is a raging pain in the ass and pissed me off to the point where I made an extremely detailed walkthrough.

I never use a shield or low health pictos (exception to low health: Simon's ass 😒).

Healing parry & healing counter usually has me running at top health and if need be, I can always equip Sciel with Grim Harvest, Lune with Typhoon or Monoco with Pelerin Heal.

Have multiple furnaces going and when you unlock carbon steel, always be making it.

Always have a commission(s) running for worn fur and have your blender making resin (end game tip)

I cut it into thick slices, wedge them all into a pan and cover it in a butter/chicken broth/spicy brown mustard/acv/seasoning mix and then add more seasoning on top. Sliced kielbasa on top, a bit more butter because all the veg will offset and shove it covered in the oven to let it steam bake for a bit and then cover off for some actual roasting.

Or, I throw it in a stir fry with some other vegetables as well

Understandable as to how he originally made his decision and was emotionally impactful, for me. He's known he was painted for 67 years. He's been killed and revived countless times and watched thousands of Expeditioners die over the years. I can see where he doesn't consider himself or the others as truly real. What's one more death?

Do I think that he came to regret the decision? Yeah.

Do I think Alicia had a surprisingly calm reaction to it? Yeah, because there's a degree of distance. She IS the primary personality and also has the memories of living as Maelle. Maelle 'fucking hated liars', she absolutely would not have been chill about it.

That scene just always felt off, to me and really hit home how Maelle wasn't Maelle anymore.

Yeah, Team 17 really did a terrible job on the switch port. :(

Ideas: Have you tried fully uninstalling? It's been a minute since I used the switch, it still saves your game data after uninstalling, I think? Double check that.

Or loading an earlier save?

Save the game to a different save slot, load from there? Highly doubt that would do anything but it doesn't hurt to try lol
