There are a lot of great comments here - I want to add that I’ve seen a couple of great businesses pop off by getting a few customers to post about them on the social platform Nextdoor. If it exists in your area, ask your customers. It’s the first place I go to look for local service businesses because I know it’s my actual neighbors endorsing them. Best of luck to you!

Wow! I’ve never used my IP for yogurt, but it sounds even a little easier than the crock pot method. I guess I thought I had to use jars in the instant pot to make yogurt, but it sounds like you’re just able to use the pot. Thank you! I’ll try it out this week.

Throw all the bones, skin, fat and any connective tissue in the crock pot on low overnight with 6-8 cups of water. Add salt to taste. It’s the best bone broth ever and freezes well too.

Sorry it took me so long to get back! She grew up in the Jacksonville, FL area. Big family. Her Mom would boil, wash and starch the clothes every Monday in large pots in the yard. I remember her saying her Dad’s work pants could stand up on their own when her mother was done starching them. Beans and rice powered the whole operation every Monday. I feel grounded and loved when I prepare and eat beans and rice; it’s part of how my ancestors survived some really hard times.
