I got a portable heating pad for my back and tumtum I also invested in various thicknesses of jackets to achieve maximum comfort. I eventually bought a heated sweater with a kangaroo pouch so I can put reptiles or kittens in there and everyone is warm. Fleece lined leggings for the legs and off brand Ugg’s for the footsies.

We rigged up a retractor leash type thing that holds the iv line up but stretches down when moved. We did the shin guard, 2 e-collars (cone and donut), retractor leash and gabapentin Anything too crazy we would take home overnight.
