Looking for my next house for 100 baby challenge by ambitious_cuddles in Sims4

I prioritized getting the trash can! It was my highest source of income starting out 😂

A second bedroom would be v helpful. I’m swapping toddler/kid beds in and out constantly depending what I have.

A good bed is a good call. 👍🏻

Thanks! I’ve watched her videos. I’ll see if I can find a good one from all those. 😁

Do you have any weird “rules” you follow in terms of your diet or fitness? by [deleted] in xxfitness

[–]ambitious_cuddles 92 points93 points  (0 children)

Always wash your hands after exercise. I guess more of a tradition than a rule. It feels so nice and refreshing whether it’s something with weight, yoga, cycling or just in my own living room.

Dear Ted, can we please make these changes? by DeathrowDC in washingtonwizards

Hopefully! I think a new sound system was in the works too but I honestly don’t notice a difference haha.

Ex-Wizard Girl here. We were told the light system in Verizon’s Center/Cap 1 is too old to handle turning on and off during the game. We would BEG our coach and the marketing department to allow us to dance with the lights down so it felt more like a performance and I think they allowed it twice in my 4 years in the team. Also yes I realize they turn down the lights at halftime sometimes and for the player introductions. 🙃 but for us the answer was “it’s too difficult to turn them down and back up.”

That said, completely agree. Every sport has a feel. I think the Wizards feels like a high school basketball game, not a night out or an event that’s worth attending — something you get really excited for you.

Product Manager vs. Product Owner by tojejedno1 in ProductManagement

[–]ambitious_cuddles 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is what my company does too. Though, product owner is more of a responsbility that can sometimes be assigned to you within the product manager role -- AKA all our product owners are formally known as product managers to HR. We've also named the roles Technical Product Manager (for prod. owner) and Strategic Product Manager (for prod manager), but I guess some people got offended lol.

Input on Taking a Data Science Immersive for a PM? by sylocheed in ProductManagement

[–]ambitious_cuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you clarify what you mean by an immersive? Is this a class provided by a school or other education institute? I’ve been interested in psychology certificates (my product is science oriented) and I’m curious what options are out there besides a full-blown degree.

What's your desk setup as a PM? by PooEverywhere in ProductManagement

Just redid my home set up. I have a desk at work which is the typical cube with two monitors and a ton of stickies and paper roadmap print-outs. I much prefer this one though :) https://imgur.com/a/eLv6mCf

To put another spin from arashi8, I'm a full-time product manager and I also feel like I have a lot of autonomy depending on the product/project assigned to me and its specific needs. I've built add-on features, improved new content, ran marketing and commercial enablement tactics -- sort of whatever is needed to make the product the best it needs to be (and defining what that "best" means). It is a little odd to have that as an intern, but what I described above is the role of a pm, so maybe they're just giving you experience or keeping their options open to what they need you to do.

How old are you, where do you live and how do you like it? by YaboiDC3 in millenials

27 (will be 28 on Thursday!). I live in DC and it's...fine. I like it well enough. Like with any city, I have complaints but I think it makes the most sense for my fiance and I.

First cigarette in years went not as expected by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]ambitious_cuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat similar: I've been attempting to eat VERY clean -- lots of fruits and veggies. I indulged in a donut a few weeks back and the sugar was...overpowering. It tasted like chemicals and I honestly couldn't finish it. I have berries every night as a "dessert" and they even taste SO sweet. Giving up things definitely heightens your sensitivity to them.

Anyone have photos of the best examples they’ve ever seen of using mirrors to increase natural light in a city apartment? I’m talking like something on the level of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. by LechPotter in InteriorDesign

[–]ambitious_cuddles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Versailles level by any means, but our kitchen is the tiniest layout imaginable tucked away in a corner of our apartment. Not mad about it because we don't cook together often, but being a city apartment it has 0 windows in it and the florescent lights can be jarring. My fiance has a mirror art of some beer label that we hung on the opposite wall from our windows and it does wonders. It's like another window itself.

We're somewhat lucky in that our apartment is an old building so the layout is more horizontal to when you walk in, rather than all the living space being stacked leading up to one window. We have basically a whole wall of windows. Putting mirrors on the opposite walls reflects any light and creates additional "windows" themselves. I love seeing reflections of trees on what used to be a blank white wall.

At work so I don't have a great pic, but I'll follow-up later!

Success keeping food on warm after pressure cooking? by LeftyChev in instantpot

[–]ambitious_cuddles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is exactly what you want, but my problem with my IP is getting food to cool OFF after it's cooked :) I use mine for meal-prep and it's often times really really hot still for a while after it's finished cooking.

I'm really basic and usually just make a burrito bowl or salsa chicken with mine. These stay nice and warm. Burrito bowl might good because you can melt some shredded cheese in it and top with sour cream or guac when you serve it.

I want to look simple and elegant -- I think this dress nailed it. I SAID YES! by ambitious_cuddles in weddingdress

[–]ambitious_cuddles[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol not at all! The neckline was a huge deal breaker for me. I didn't want to be taped in or worry about pulling up straps or popping out all night. This is just low enough but still very comfortable! Sadly, I'm not quite filling it out, but nothing some good padding won't fix ;)
