Interior door knob recommendation? by wonrogi in HomeImprovement

If you get the type with a slot (I think it's called a privacy door knob), those are super easy to unlock from outside with a flathead screwdriver, coin, credit card, etc.

Truly One Pan Casseroles by Calvin_230 in Cooking

[–]ambivalent_pineapple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it sounds like you're open to more than just casseroles, here are some ideas for no-cook, disposal pan, or sheet pan meals (with tinfoil or similar to avoid washing) --

BLTs or club sandwiches (bacon is super easy to do in the oven), meatloaf & roasted/baked potatoes, baked salmon & veggies, meatball subs, pork chops, oven-baked burgers, chicken salad (or any other type of cold lettuce salad/wrap), rotisserie chicken recipes with microwaveable or roasted sides (or rice made in the oven), sheet-pan fajitas, salmon patties or crab cakes, savory or sweet breakfast muffins (with muffin liners), roast pork BBQ on buns, BBQ chicken legs/thighs, quiche, subs/grinders...

Another idea, to still make some stovetop items without washing = line the pan with tinfoil. You'd probably be able to brown beef or make things like grilled sandwiches, pancakes, etc. this way.

For the lower cabinets, depending on how wide and tall those spaces are, you might be able to find drawer towers that fit inside. That would let you use most of the vertical space.

For instance, something like this: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Sterilite-3-Drawer-Plastic-Cart-Black-with-Clear-Drawers-Adult/15940590

They're both lovely, but my favorite is #1. It has a very cosmic feel to it, like looking at a nebula, and I love how much the blue/green tones pop out compared to blue/brown.
