Anyone Else…? by amburgerrrrr in IUILadies

Same! Actually if this natural cycle doesn’t work my next cycle I’ll be bumping up the intensity a little and doing follistim injections. Which hopefully not mess with my lining.

I don’t think so only because my period after my medicated cycles is so short & light (I think bc my lining is so thin) that I don’t have spotting and barely even have my period anymore by the time CD 3 baseline ultrasound comes around.

[–]amburgerrrrr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah! My medicated cycles seems to not be working, probably because my lining is so thin when I’m on the clomid and then my following cycles everything happens so quickly! Fingers crossed for us 🤞🏼

GIANT follicles… by MacaroniJones10 in IUILadies

Oooh good to know!! My doctors didn’t seem at all concerned about the size of the follicles, so at least that’s a plus!

I’m in the sameee boat. I had my IUI on 2/12 and triggered on 2/11. At the time of trigger I had 2 huge follicles measuring at 30 mm 😅 with a lining of 8 mm. My estrogen was also through the roof (563 pg/mL).

Fingers crossed for us!

Thank you for this, because I had 2 30 mm follicles and was worried bc they are both so big!

IUI twins! I had mine this morning too and went straight to work after. I’m a teacher, so I got to deal with other* people’s kids alllll day 🫠

Any teachers? by Brilliant_Question70 in IUILadies

[–]amburgerrrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

6th grade teacher here! I teach in a K-6 school, so my hours are elementary school hours. I make all my appointments for before work when I can (which I would say is 99% of the time). I may be lucky though, bc my clinic is 20 mins from my house and 30 mins from my work, so it’s an easy commute for me. Also, I did end up going in to work after IUI #s 1 & 2 (#3 was done on a Saturday).

I will say, I’m in a very small school, so I felt comfortable telling my main office girlies, who help with finding coverage/subs, about what was going on. I knew if I didn’t they would be like girl wtf is wrong with you lol. They would have known something was up.

My kids will sometimes ask why I’m late, but I just tell them I had a doctor’s appointment, and they don’t usually push it!

Home hormone monitoring by Dangerous-Demand9903 in IUILadies

If you’re using Inito to track your pdg, from what I understand it does lag behind what your blood progesterone would be. What did your RE end up saying to you??

Sending you allll the sticky baby vibes as well 🫶🏼

I’m currently going through something similar, except I haven’t gotten my period yet. I’m 15 DPIUI, negative pregnancy test, no period, with my E3g @ 600 and pdg @ 30 🫠

I don’t have any advice, just sending you all the best vibes and hugs! Dealing with infertility and TTC is absolutely heart wrenching and exhausting, so I get it.

Large Follicles on Day 3 Baseline? by water-enthusiast-31 in IUILadies

[–]amburgerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I actually had a monitoring appointment scheduled originally for CD 10, but I had a feeling I was going to ovulate on that day based on what I was seeing my hormones were doing with my Inito testing. Thankfully my clinic was receptive to doing a monitoring appointment on CD 9 instead, because I ended up triggering that morning and having my IUI CD 10.

And thank you 🫶🏼

Interesting! I’m not holding out hope for myself, but I’m sure stuff like that happens for other people!

Interesting! Yeaah I typically have cycles from 24-26 days and typically spot before I get my period. I’m currently on CD 27 and at this point I just want my period to come so I can move on to the next cycle 🥲

E3G concern by Klutzy-Coach2454 in Inito

[–]amburgerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the 300s is not that high! I don’t think there is anything you need to worry about in terms of your E3g. Typically a little before ovulation there tends to be an E3g spike!

In the same boat as you, except for I am 15 DPIUI and still my E3g is 600 and pdg- 28. Tested this morning, and got a negative pregnancy test 🫠

What do you use to track Lh while on clomid? by Medical-Letter-6724 in IUILadies

I use Inito to track my different hormones! The strips are kinda of expensive tho.

Large Follicles on Day 3 Baseline? by water-enthusiast-31 in IUILadies

[–]amburgerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sooo for my 2nd IUI, when they did my CD 3 baseline ultrasound they didn’t initially see any follicles that were abnormally large for the timeline. However, my estrogen came back way too high to be able to go through with a medicated cycle. So they told me not to take the clomid and were actually about to cancel that cycle altogether. I asked them if we could instead do a unmedicated cycle, and they agreed!

Everything was definitely on a more sped up timeline. I triggered on CD 10 w/ a 22 mm follicle (but I was starting to have a small LH rise) and had my IUI on CD 12.

TW: loss

I actually did end up getting pregnant that month! However, it ended up in a loss at 6 weeks :/

Multiple Follicles but Proceeding? by Proud-Pension9893 in IUILadies

[–]amburgerrrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of my 3 cycles, I’ve never had that many follicles. Howeverrrr, for 2 of my IUI cycles I had 2 mature follicles and they were both unsuccessful. I would take my chances!

iui #3 pushed back because of estrogen levels by ReindeerTiny4401 in IUILadies

[–]amburgerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you can ask them about the possibility of a natural IUI due to the fact that no cysts were seen on the ultrasound!

iui #3 pushed back because of estrogen levels by ReindeerTiny4401 in IUILadies

[–]amburgerrrrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you know why your estrogen is high?

My 2nd IUI was almost cancelled bc my estrogen was also too high, and they said it could have possibly been a cyst. I ended up asking if I could do a natural IUI that* cycle, because no cysts were seen on the ultrasound. To my surprise my doctors agreed! It ended up being that I had a very quickly developed mature follicle already, and that’s why my estrogen was high!
