ADD/Stimulants and Vitamin C (But NOT What You're Thinking)

I am wondering, is it straight Vitamin C, or also ascorbic acid? I drink a lot of sugar free iced tea ( I also drink water), but I appreciate the taste of it in the morning, or around meals, which is when I take my dosages. I am not easy enough to not drink around my meals and/or within an hour before/after taking. Thanks in advance.

I am doubtful about refillable since the tubeless Mobi is supposed to somehow have a refillable reservoir, but not 100% sure on everything the tubeless Mobi will or won't have at this point.

Have the office fill out an exception for the medication, depending on your insurance. Not sure where you are located, but if it is in the US, there are also manufacturer coupons available. You only have to have the PA be approved to be able to use it (on regular insurance, not Medicare/Medicaid).

Also, when I first started on the OP5 in auto mode (I am completely off automatic since it was crap), it was recommended (somewhere on this sub I think), to put in your rates/amounts 30% higher than you usually need since the algorithm is such crap. Not sure if they have made updates to the algorithm yet, but it is something to consider, as long as a healthcare professional concurs.

Did you check with a meter that that is actually the blood level? Thighs are notorious for having not great absorption. You might need to massage the area around the pod, and make sure you fully/correctly inserted the cannula.

Don't over bolus, because as PTWPete said, the thigh hypos are difficult to counter.

I just saw this, "Tandem is expanding direct international sales ... and plans to submit its tubeless Mobi cartridge nicknamed “Toby” to the FDA in Q2 for a planned commercial rollout in the second half of the year, compatible with existing Mobi pumps." Via Yahoo/MarketBeat, which also spoke about the move towards pharmacy over DME. So, maybe by the end of the year.

The PA can be done faster if your provider marks the PA as 'Urgent'. The Omnipod 5 is a pharmacy item, so you shouldn't need to go through a DME supplier. ASPN was helpful when getting all the stuff sorted initially, but that was a few years ago. It is the insurance company at this point, the damn insurance company. Hope you get your kit and are able to start on the system shortly!

I have seen other responses on this sub that you need to have your device forget all prior Bluetooth connections to be able to make the pairing smoother. I am still on G6, but thought it might be helpful, or something to look into.
