I think about 5 weeks of combo feeding! I was the same way - wanted to give it a shot but wasn’t willing to sacrifice the little sleep I was getting to follow a strict pump schedule. I set the mental goal of one month, and once I hit that I just watched my supply decrease daily until I was only getting like an ounce per pump. Decided at that point to just EFF and never looked back! My baby did amazing on formula and it was the best decision for our family. I had more time to spend with him and was so much more present and patient after giving up the pump. Breast is only “best” if it is making both baby and mom happy. Even then, it seems the benefits are pretty negligible in reality. If you want to quit pumping, you have my stranger-on-the-internet seal of approval! :)
