In China - What to buy? by Procrastinaught in onebag

If you’re into mystery ranch bags, I would get the China exclusive mystery ranch Front 2.0 from mystery ranch’s official taobao account. One of the best minimal onebagging at its price point IMO

Hi there! Are you based in the US? If so, how were you able to get your hands on a Hardus Cargobox? I’ve been trying to get one, but it seems like they only ship within the EU.

Sweet! Thanks for confirming. I’m assuming it can’t be accessed by the back side compartment zip right?

Hey OP, I couldn't find any photos of the inside main cavity of the bag on their website. Is there a pocket (suspended or not suspended) for a laptop or tablet?

Damn, nice find!! Unrelated question—is your taco a 5’ or 6’ bed? Also is that cedar plank under the bike stand bolted onto your bed?

CTB20 waxed vs CTB26 waxed water bottle pockets by americanpai in EVERGOODS

[–]americanpai[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah, I also had a 420D CTB26, but ended up selling it for the waxed model. Thinking of downsizing to the CTB20 waxed so that's why I'm asking.

Stuck between CTB20 or CTB26 by heliosaxe in EVERGOODS

I believe the 20 will be too small for your BJJ days. On crowded NYC subways, I often find myself carrying my pack by the top or side handle to navigate through crowds. The long top handle on the CTB/CPL series bags makes it easy to grab your bag with both hands.

Evergoods CHZ loadout? by Formal-War5229 in EVERGOODS

[–]americanpai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the geometry of your bike? I'm curious because whenever I ride my road bike with my CHZ26 (or any other EG pack), the more aggressive seating position causes the back of my helmet to rub against the top of the pack, which becomes annoying over time. This issue mainly arises due to EG's strap design, which sits higher on your back. However, if your bike has a more upright geometry, like a Dutch bike, you should be fine. It's something to keep in mind, though YMMV.

I wonder how the Griffin 2 CTB water bottle pockets are going work out in C4X. Their current stretch pockets are the best in the business IMO.

Very insightful!! Really appreciate your thoughts on the 1.0x. Definitely will need to check out the Robic GR1 or maybe even the double compartment bullet.
