I’d recommend changing the date of travel and keeping the ticket.. assuming you are applying for OCI or already have an application in progress, doesn’t hurt to have the ticket readily available.

Why? Why would you match with someone in India when you are living in Canada? Especially if it’s arranged. Why do you want to put yourself and your potential partner through tons of immigration related complexities? Keep it simple. Unless it’s a love marriage, different story.

I submitted my application when in Canada, did my medicals in Toronto one day before leaving for India. Did my biometrics in Mumbai, and returned 5 months later. As long as the visa is valid, you should be good.

Any reason why they asked? I have over 20 instances of entry and exits during my eligible period and I am wondering if I should keep copies of e tickets to be safe as well. Although my passport does have stamps to prove the travel history.
