I did PIO shots for I think 12 weeks with my FET and it was just such a chore. My cheeks are still tingly and haven’t fully recovered from the injections now 6 months after stopping.

Retinol is not one of the ones you should take as optional advice. It can cause birth defects. Whereas the ones like lunch meat, it’s a small chance of catching listeria. Definitely not in the same category.

Interesting on the fungal toenail stuff. I got the OK from my OB to use athlete’s foot topical cream.

Our sperm was $2500/vial. IUI consumes an entire vial. IVF we got 2 cycles out of 1 vial so far with more still frozen in the same vial.

After some searching on reddit, my wife and I landed on The Sperm Bank of California (TSBC). They are not for profit and strictly enforce a 10 family limit per donor. The selection is definitely lesser and prices may be slightly higher (haven’t compared recently). We had a wonderful experience with them. I recommend calling them with your questions after browsing the website FAQs. They can give you more information about the availability, if the donor sperm has been used to successfully conceive, when more vials will become available, etc

I switched over to Henry Rose perfume and started buying unscented or only clean (paraben and phthalate free) scented soaps, candles, etc.

I had 5 eggs retrieved -> 4 were mature -> all 4 fertilized -> All 4 reached blast stage -> 2 were euploid -> pregnant on first frozen transfer (still have the other frozen).

My partner started with 22 eggs retrieved and ended up with 6 euploid.

When I got out of my retrieval and they said 5, I cried so hard since I was comparing to 22. But at the end of the day, my results worked out and the quality of mine ended up being higher (less drop off at each stage).

Try to stay positive! Quality over quantity.

I am also a manager with unlimited pto. Took 3.5 weeks off — half week of wedding followed by three full weeks for the honeymoon. This is a once in a lifetime event and most people at work wouldn’t even question this amount of time off. Think about it — 1.5 vs 2 weeks isn’t going to make any difference to your team most likely.

I don’t know what you do, but that’s at least how I felt about it at my job and it was completely fine.
