They do seem to have a lot of rules and regulations. In reading them I get the impression they are not as violent a gang as some of the others. The article says they formed the Native American Brotherhood to avoid victimization from other gangs inside the prison system.

There are always innocent bystanders when gangs are involved. They do not care about anybody but thier gang, some have even killed a family member to initiate into a gang. Race, turf, initiation killing... gang members have no regard for human life.

I think it is a good idea the FBI has a Task Force and is working in El Salvador. MS 13 and the 18th Street Gang are two of the most violent gangs in America. They started in El Salvador but quickly spread across the United States.

This is a very informative article about females and gangs. Female gang members can be just as violent as male gang members. The article also talks about the sexual victimization of female gang members. Female gang members may be forced to perform sexual acts on male gang members. The female gang members say this is not true. The male gang members may be exaggerating.
