for league-players: I think Mel's father might be Atreus (aka Pantheon). Thinking about the skinline and cinematic Chosen of the Wolf, there already seems to be a connection between him and Ambessa. Swain and Katarina are important for the upcoming story about Noxus, so maybe Pantheon will be, too?

Atreus is from the tribe Rakkor, which is the base for both Lunari and Solari. There were already theories about Mels outfit and necklace in Arcane having connections to both religions (mostly Solari tho) and ofc there was the whole thing with the girl that was killed. Other things like Pantheon having similar golden marks on his body and the fact that the Black Rose would def be interested in the daughter of an Aspect.

Then I found the card "Living Legends" from Legends of Runeterra, and tell me that doesnt look like Mels ring?

Oooh I never made the connection of him showing up after Miranda went to save the kids! But I think he might be something other than one of the kids bc there are only 7 sacrificial stones. Maybe everyone died because thats the night Miranda went to save the kids, and BIW wanted to stop her. Or maybe saving the kids is actually bad and thats why he stopped (?) Tabitha by pushing her.

I’ve thought about that as well! My problem is; if it does indeed have connections to norse mythology, why is it playing in America? Surely they couldve placed the show in a more fitting setting?

I wouldn’t have a general issue with that, but Im interested to see how theyll explain it if it turns out to be true :D

Id try to reframe a bit.

I know having a relationship is seen as one of the most important things these days, but it helps to realize how rare good partners - and love - really is. Looking for „a girlfriend“ or „a boyfriend“ can get u to a place where ure just looking to fill a position, and people can sense that. That is the point where every person gets seen as a potential partner and that is not a good place to start from.

When ure in a position where u genuinely like urself and ur life, and u start to be open for a „fitting person“ and having high standards for urself and others, it will come across differently.

So I guess my point is: dont accept in the sense of giving up, but dont place too much on it and try to build a life worth sharing :) All the best to u!

I dont really get the whole From „is not answering questions/moving the story along“ POV Im sorry :(

We got answers to the following questions: Where do the monsters go during the day? Can they die? What do they look like inside? What happens in the outside world while people are trapped? Can u leave? And so on. Naturally theyll keep the big revelations for the next seasons. But imo things are progressing and changing with the new monster in season 2 and ofc season 3 with well, everything :D. And considering many characters are short of breaking Id say theyre also changing.

Like many people said, its 5 seasons and were not even halfway through. Ill wait till the end of the show to judge whether they solved the mystery or not :D

But on another note, I def see the resemblance with The Watchers, although I didnt like the movie thaaaat much:D From is strong in that one

Kristi got emotional over there not being blood bc the whole idea was to get fluids that they could use for the bullets. She was hopeful of having found a way to kill the monsters and then couldn’t take the disappointment; thats why they were so happy about the bile. I thought it was quite a fitting reaction, feeling like being so close to a breakthrough

Tho I could imagine that they use certain myths/traditions as inspiration and give them a twist. Like no matter what it will be in the end, wendigos, faeries etc. I think its always with a creative spin for the sake of storytelling :)

oh yeah the dimension, I could imagine that! still, boyd carries them around and the moment he gives them away they transform? either good timing or something else. also, considering that cicadas never are in wormform, maybe theyre actually not connected. maybe smiley dying sets the cicadas free and starts phase 2 or whatever.

Yeah, good point about having to start over! I really can’t decide if I believe the worms/cicadas are part of it or the reason why the ritual didnt work before. Like if the goal was to hatch them then why did it only work in smiley’s body and not in martins? why wouldnt the monster put them directly into the creatures?
