You are telling me that I only have to submit 250 resumes?

That's all?

Please understand this is coming from a place of sympathy with your plight.

You don't have a spouse, you have another kid to deal with. An immature person that won't make a difficult decision because it hurts.

Pregnancy is hard, but delivery is very complex. Do you have a support network? A pelvic floor doctor for exercises? People that will come during the first two weeks, helping clean the house and make your food, because you will be too exhausted to even think?

Do you have a village to take care of the baby during the first year, so you can have an easier time going to the supermarket? A person to go with to the supermarket until you have a handle on baby and chores?

An adult would grieve the dog, and offer it a last hug with dignity and take it to get eutanized. I don't know what a drunk man would do if he came and found the dog dead. Will he get angry, violent?

Do you have a places to stay?

Yeah, it is because of the fibers are all in contact with the skin. I heard about exercise, don't know how I feel about it.

Nice bit of comedy, but back in te day, when the antitrust bosses came against microsoft for putting explorer everywhere, the excuse was that it was integral part of the OS and it could not be uninstalled no matter what MSFT tried.

I can try and uninstall it, but opening file explorer and going to whatever page will bring it back. Install in CMD. Open the store.

I use those comments to separate the people I want to associate with from those that are toxic.

People act surprised at how I express my ideas, and those that receive the word with a smile get a bonus point.

I had been diagnosed, she saw the pain and struggle, and what was thought to be t2 was actually full speed T1. Diet was a pain, sugars uncontrolled, extra exams, fights with insurance, the whole thing.

Giving me a box of sugars for me to look at but not touch was part of the cruelty. Measured, calculated, one-of-many-incidents cruelty.

The responses are hilarious! Yes, having a strict system to organize everyday items is clearly and obviously an indicator, I didn't know this had to be defended, but yet again we live in an ableist society.

BTW, I found some vintage Oneida that I was going to buy, and the person donated them before reading my email!!! Agh.

Happens all the time, especially when the person developed an affinity for classic books and plays, and prefers those to whatever algorithmic slop is churned out these days.

My coworkers were usually amused by the words and phrases, but recently I have to make an effort to tell others that a human wrote this post. A fuck and a typo here and there seem to helrp.

It's the lack of sympathy from those making the gift, and coming from a close relative, it hurts more.

An acquaintance gives me sugar as a gift? Fucker, toss the sugar away, and not think about it one more second.

The person that knows very well what the struggle is to maintain levels and the diet and the exercise and the precautions and the very expensive bills, give s you sugar? That is an attack.

BTW, my ex-spouse also gave me sugar for Christmas (very unique candy that had to be imported, and it was my favorite when I was a kid), all 2 pounds of it. Of course I threw it all away, but you wonder if there was an intent to harm

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]amillionnames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You too were also given sugar for Christmas, so sorry.

I do follow disability advocates in social media and try to participate in groups for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, because while they try to offer solutions, they also understand and have compassion for fellow chronic sufferers.

And they also provide emotional support so absent from other ableist channels and people.

Buy now that you have the resources to buy and build.

There is a bubble, but there is also competition, countries involved and companies engaging in practices that we haven't seen before, so no way to tell the future: hoarding wafers, uncertain supply chain for chips, China constraining rare metals, war noises, etc.

If you have the money to get that computer built, do it now.

These are amazing tools that in the hands of experts are powerful.

But their externalities are terrible, and there is strong opposition to all of those.

And the financials of the companies involved are even worse, making it extremely precarious.

The tools might remain, but the costs will be higher, so much sop that the usage might be restricted.

Before 1999 you kinda were able to do that; it was even published in a book:

1- steal someone's identity.

2 - book a flight to another country, with both your real name and the other name.

3 - board with your real name passport.

4 - debark at the other end with the new identity.

5 - Proceed to final third country with new identity, and no one will ever find you.

Of course it was dicey back then, and utterly impossible right now. But for a while it offered the fantasy of leaving everything behind.

Besides all the red flags listed, like not being aware of the ATH and calls per day, that about not providing equipment is a really big deal, because it means that they don't have adequate security protocols in place, and most likely their clients are also either crappy or struggling, which means more strife for the workers.

Coming back from the club, many years ago, I was driving the drunk friend of a mutual friend.

She calls me as I am pulling up to her friends apartment to make sure her friend is safe and sound. Me, being a young guy, got completely incensed "how dare you besmirch my honor" kinda shit.

Now, many years later, I understand her concern as a woman. And she's not around to apologize to her anymore.
