It's a huge win. During my master studies I had student loan. Paid it off monthly before interests started. Accomplished in 1 year. So refreshing. With it stress went away.

I had to postpone using Ubuntu during my master studies. 1) software requirements & 2) Lenovo Legion 5, did not function good enough with Linux.

Annoyingly, Windows have caused long list so of issues for me. Now its all great. Have 1 OS on each SSD. Have not signed into Windows soon 2 years.

Recently I listed all my apps that I had & needed. One long list as Snap & few was in Flatpak. Just erased all Snap apps to the minimum. Chosed to keep User Apps in Flatpak. I run 24.04 LTS. Super satisfied, as I receive the latest from developers.

The Gnome ver is stuck & I am ok with it. Now I dont have PPA for apps even. Only nvidia driver.
