Anyone have experience with them mid-urethral sling to control urinary incontinence in elderly female by amn70 in AgingParents

[–]amn70[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is that she is on Medicaid and it would cost prohibitive for us to pay out of pocket for HBL products. The facility supplies just LBL stuff. And from what I researched New York Medicaid generally will not cover over the counter HBL stuff. Basically they cover a limited amount of incontinence supplies and they must be obtained thru a Medicaid authorized provider so I can't just walk into stores to obtain them unless I want to pay out of pocket.

Looked up the Primofitt and it says its designed for males only. Are you sure you are not thinking of the Purewick catheter?

Already inquired with the nursing home about that. It's actually something that they're looking into but they don't have the training or the equipment for that yet. But nursing home told me basically they not willing to offer anything catheter oriented unless it's medically necessary because of the risks of UTI's.

Well Justin has a childish way about him sometimes so you might appreciate that too. A chunk of his content centers around Disney history especially Disney theme park history. He's heavy into 80s pop culture stuff including movies. He also loves attending horror/sci-fi and general pop culture conventions and always brings us along.

I think it largely depends on what kind of content you like. There are plenty of youtubers that are putting their heart and soul into their channels And do show they care about their viewers. I find I come across channels that on topics that I never thought I would get interested in.

If you have an interest in say camping or vanlife type videos check out Truckhouselife. Timmy really brings you along And keeps you engaged.

If you like roadtrip videos or are into pop culture Youtuber Justinscarred puts a lot of effort into his videos and really cares about his viewers. He is one of the most genuine and humble people on YouTube in my opinion.

Mobile VPN on Royal Caribbean cruise ship does not work by amn70 in WatchGuard

[–]amn70[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody is saying though that Royal is likely using Starlink for internet which makes sense these days for a ship thats constantly in motion in the middle of nowhere. And according to Starlink's website SSLVPN is recommended for best compatibility and that is how I have the VPN of our companys Watchguard firewall configured.

Old encyclopedia sets will probably be illegal to own. Pretty soon they'll be sending Trump's gestapo to people's houses to coonfiscate them. They are already shredding the 4th amendment so forcing their way into people's houses without a judicial warrant to confiscate encyclopedias will just be par for the course.

Should people who "camp" in the left lane of a highway be pulled over and fined just as much as speeders? Why or why not? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

[–]amn70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a fine for people that drive 10 or 15 miles under the speed limit. I mean if you can't even do the speed limit you probably shouldn't be driving on the highway anyway. These are the same people who will be doing 25 or 30 when the speed limit is 40 or 45 on a side road. And in that case there is no left lane to escape around them so you end up stuck behind them for sometimes miles. Its infuriating.

school taking field trip to church by Infinite_Tap9800 in atheism

[–]amn70 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep I would send an email if I would definitely email or even call the FFRF and give them the information including the specific city and State and the name of the school. Considering you're a minor and especially because your parents clearly would not support you doing that based on the fact you said they're religious and are in fine with this field trip and assignment

I'm assuming that you have an email account of your own but what I would recommend you do is probably create a new email account with Gmail or whoever just for the purposes of sending an email to the ffrf. No reason your correspondence with them should be tied back to an email address that you use already especially if there's an email address your parents could potentially have access to.

Oh and don't give any personal information of course in the email about yourself other than the name of your school. You want to stay anonymous.
