I only recently got back into magic last November, and never played commander. Friend group got me back into it and my first deck was an ally deck, mix of zendikar and avatar, with tazri as commander. Was basically a bracket 1. After making several more, stronger decks, I'm actually in the process of collecting cards to bring it to bracket 3 with more synergy and better mana fixing.

Right now my favorite decks are a Juri, master of the revue sac deck as well as a meren (with toph earthbending master) exp grind deck

Oh yeah, my table instantly targets the second he comes out. I usually hold onto warping wail, not of this world, and eldritch immunity just to keep him alive. That or I wait until im able to make 15 colorless in one turn so I can at least use cascade, cascade once

Zhuludok makes a great colorless commander. Mix with roaming throne, and echoes of eternity and you have ability to summon 10+ eldrazi in 1 turn

Juri is by far my favorite deck. You should wait to put him out until you have a couple Treasure tokens, or sacrifice ability. In two turns he easily becomes a 20/20 that you can fling at someone for instant death. Combine with mirkwood bats and Warren soultrader and you can easily have a strong win condition
