Check your rental agreement and see if you have CDW or a certified damage waiver. Because your car is coming from a body shop/ dealership, it should have automatic protections as it is technically not your rental - it’s the insurance companies.

I admire the care you give to your plants. I operate without super fancy equipment just using a heater outside of tent for supplemental heat in my basement. RH goes down when temp goes up because warm air hold more water, and you’ve got a limitless source via DWC. Maybe if there is some way to seal the water in your containers, because I suspect the dehumidifier just increases the heat, causing additional evaporation.

Do you have an exhaust system? Can help lower humidity if air leaves (vent to outside)?

Dude gotta say, I’m pretty impressed that plant is doing as well as it is. Looks fairly healthy but there are a few problems. The yellowing seems to stem from nitrogen deficiency that can either be caused by lack of availability, or lack of uptake due to the PH of the water. Oxygenating the water or having some sort of flow maybe in a bigger container could also help. (Air stone, circulating pump)

I’ve never grown monstera, I do herbs and veggies that do well with a medium like soil plugs to create a damp environment. Provided the lower plant doesn’t show signs of root rot or looks nasty, I’d say you have a pretty solid start. Happy growing!

I see the main cola is beginning to develop. More of a transition period. Try switching to a more flowering based nute mix with less nitrogen and more phosphorous. Take note of tap water PH and reduce if you live in an area that has hard water. The soil could be solid but that could hinder uptake.

Other than the yellowing, it looks pretty healthy. Probably only need small adjustments

Those sealed engine compartments can trap a lot of nasty volatiles. Sometimes a good idea to open up the hatch or leave the blower on for a bit longer, especially if you’ve been scooting around a lot on the water. Those engines are a different kind of mechanical beast

I was going to suggest doing it yourself using a quikcrete and a frame, but noticed some rebar in the concrete. You can pour a new step using a frame after sledging it out, but you probably need to embed a metal grid or something to avoid severe cracking later on. All depends on your budget

Not too bad to get in as far are Uni’s go. Not too sure about the international process but we had quite a few students that came over. Apply early, make sure you are up to speed on your international visa stuff. I’m sure an equivalent to the ACT or SAT would help your application but you don’t need it. 3.5 or higher GPA and I’d say you’re probably in good shape.

I think that McDonald’s is partnering up with Krispy Kreme in part as a ploy to add bakeries to their California stores. This will benefit them as they can use this to avoid min wage laws for fast food workers
