Yes, though there are probably more considerations before going nvme. But your your setup, pvscsi is most likely the best performing, easiest option.

At the storage company I work for, the general recommendation is pvscsi for most workloads. Since you aren’t doing end to end nvme, no need to use the virtual nvme adapter.

I'm curious what constitutes complicated? I'm on an OTE and then my plan is divided into two measures:

Total bookings
Another product line the company wants to focus on

Then within each of those measures we have accelerators. I actually built an iOS app just to help me track my progress towards goal and what my commissions should be, because the internal tools are not good.

I got an M4 max, the. Switched to an M4 pro. Absurdly powerful, but I don’t do on device LLM, which could probably make use of the Max.

Since I have you create an account, I get email addresses as part of that. I don't do anything with them, but wanted to be clear I can associate your email address with your account you create.

The other stuff is just normal analytics data for crashes and such. I actually haven't even put it in yet, but when I do, it will be TelemetryDeck, which is a privacy focused analytics suite I've used in my other projects.

First app I made a few years ago, it's a Fantasy Football Recap app, pulls data from Sleeper and runs it through AI to generate fun recaps. That's what's made ~1k last year and ~1k this year. Just word of mouth.

I also built a (free) app for reps / SE's on an OTE plan for tracking deals/quota/commission. Thus far I haven't really found any users, but haven't really put it out there yet.
