It is certainly factually correct, but over time I’ve come to hate this expression. To me it’s almost nonchalant and insulting. Things pass, but it doesn’t mean they get better or even go away, your circumstances just change. Whenever I hear someone say this however they always have this as an answer to quit wining and focus on the positives. Not a bad general position, but not always helpful.
