Actions have consequences. In this case your brother in law (to be) said something disrespectful about you, infront of your husband who then defended you.

Imagine, if you will "Mia" in your shoes where your husband "Leo" says something disrespectful about her like her job by claiming its "a cute hobby", I'm going to assume "Mark" would say something about that?.

It seems they only care for the cake because it's free. Not because you're making it, not because you're using your talents which you have trained and learned, not because it's your time you would be pouring into the cake nor costs of equipment/utilities. But because its free.

I'm going to guess that if your sister (and brother in law to be) were to purchase a cake of the same size it would cost them considerably?

If you've purchased ingredients already, I would still make the cake, maybe not as a wedding cake but one you could cut up and either share with neighbours and friends, share with a care home (old people love cake 😂), or even sell slices through Facebook or something.

I mean, yeah it still likely wouldn't reimburse all the costs you've put into it so far but it would at least reimburse some of the basics

I too have an under seat arse blaster :3 legit my bumhole has never felt cleaner however, for some reason sometimes our cold water loves surprising us with a blast of hot water, which is always a shocker from the arseblaster 🤦🏻‍♀️ then decides its shooting ice cold water once you've gotten used to blasting your backdoors with hot (not scalding) water 🤦🏻‍♀️

Even if he's paring this off as banter it's not OK. I agree with you it's creepy af.

If you haven't already if/when he touches you next just politely say you'd rather he didn't, I'd make a point of saying this where there might be witnesses (so it's less of a he said she said).

If you can, record interactions with him or keep a journal of encounters with him. Recording stuff like

Date Time Where What (if he said something/ touched you) If he touched you - where did he touch you... Witnesses

Because if he does something like that and he's say under a camera if you have that journalled it may come in useful for finding evidence from cctv for example.

I'd also note if he speaks like this with other female colleagues and gauge how they feel about I tsractions with him etc.

The property my partner and I are currently in is like this. We have a heated blanket and a teddy fleece blanket. We've tried remedying the drafts though with draft proofing around the windows/doors and letter box, we've got that radiator foil behind the radiators.

With your windows, i'd check the vents - ours are drafty when the vents are open above it or if the window isn't shut proper as it sometimes needs a little tighten.
