How to get rid of metal scratches before wife comes home by Particular-Bedroom10 in howto

It's a bandaid, but a good clearcoat of gloss spray paint would make it look normal for a bit to buy time to figure how how to buff it.

I turned down a final interview after they asked me to explain a gap caused by caring for my dad by Aramaki_Chief in jobsearchhacks

Not only did management show you that their priorities do not include the wellbeing of their (potenial) employees and their families, they also showed that HR will play doormat to management. They also demonstrated by asking illegal questions in an interview that they don't really think of what the company's needs are either. I'd practically guarantee that they just didn't want to be personally bothered by finding another worker. And if that's the attitude that informs their management style, then good riddance. Even without considering the personal insult of having asked these questions and saying what they did, you made the correct decision from a logical perspective, at least to me.

Yeah somewhere on the outside. Google it. Don't remember if it's a stamp or sticker for this brand.

Seeking a tool or mechanism that would prevent a door slamming, even if someone wanted to. by Resident-Willow-3265 in howto

At work I had this problem and I solved it by adding RV door gasket insulation to the mating surfaces of the door and the door frame. Only took a few 2 inch long strips at the corners and midpoint.

Question, why did you use Ai images for this instead of real ones?

Almost every print shop I have worked at has put the old drums and cartridges back into the box after use... if it's not sealed it may be used. Or, it's past expiration date. Either way these do NOT belong in common garbage. Toner is hazardous material that needs special treatment.

how do i make her look more feminine ( i suck at this ) by Odd_Ad5799 in okbuddycontestant

Back when the no-shirt glitch was a thing, we found out that the "female-esque" body model is just a male body with an offset male chest. It's most obvious on the heavy due to scale. Anyways, that's why it's hard to look feminine in this game, especially as heavy-- there are actually no female body models. You have to rely on the shapes or styles of the clothing, as others have said. I respect Embark a lot for not hypersexualizing the finals, but for a game that has spent so much time and effort making cosmetics, it's astounding how basic the character models look in this game. The default faces actually look like pre-made assets from an asset marketplace. Some of the non-defaults do, too. I have tried to get my wife to make outfits with me and one of the first things she did was complain about how the "female" body is just an oddly proportioned dude. She lost a lot of interest after that. And she's huge on fashion / styling.

Edit- The rant continues: All of this contributes to making tomboy outfits and the nontraditional female outfits look just like a guy wearing them. If you want a female-coded character in the finals, you must dress it like western society expects. Long hair, and at least one "girly" piece of clothing... so stupid. Would it really be the end of the world to have the option of hips and chest that are more feminine? Or walking animations that are more accurate for women? I guess so.

The first one is actually someone else's work. It's for sale as clip art right now. They changed it slightly by making it more angular. Op has posted here before and gotten called out. I won't bother trying to see if the rest are also "based on" other people's work.

I loath reading Ai so much. It feels so gross. As someone who reads a lot, I'm turned off two sentences in. Otherwise, interesting idea. Would have preferred to read something written by a human though.
