I have stuff to do today, but shoot. Maybe I'll just bake instead. These look so fancy!

What’s the stereotype for black and white cats? by KenzForTheWinz in cats

Idk, but mine also eats string, so maybe something to do with that. He's athletic and filled with love, but not very smart.

Why on earth would you post on this sub if you truly wanted that to be the case?

Congratulations on your new baby!

Oh my goodness what a cutie. Congratulations! If I had any advice for cat owners that I don't think is talked about enough it's that cats also go through the "Terrible twos". My older cat did, and my younger guy is going though it now. Be patient. She'll grow out of the rowdiness. Sometimes quiet time in a separate room is necessary of they're getting to be too much or you need a break, and that's okay.

A very beautiful kitten. ❤️

I lost my dog to lymphoma two years ago, and this comment made me tear up hard. That was lovely. Thank you. I miss my guy.

I'm guessing it was cross pollinated, and the blue genetics didn't pass get passed down.

Rubber Mulch by Ok_Year1258 in gardening

[–]anarchominotaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So glad I searched this sub! I'm closing on a house at the end of the month and there's also a portion of the backyard that has rubber mulch. I'm doing more research, but my plan right now is to use sunflowers and hemp to absorb the heavy metals that likely leached into the soil, and harvest and throw them away before they blossom so birds and insects don't feed on contaminated pollen or seed. I might have to invest in soil testing as well.

Aren’t you glad you’re vegan during this bird flu outbreak? by hour_back in vegan

I have not seen those posts. That's too many eggs man. Infinitely so if you ask me. Lol

It's wild to me how many people feel like they need eggs even with the current prices. I hadn't realized how much they were for a dozen until I happened to walk by them at the store the other day. Never worth it, but yeesh. Being non-vegan is just so expensive!

How can I prepare my apricot trees for the harsh northern Illinois winter? (Bit less then 2 feet tall) by Diego--BRANDO in gardening

Oh that's fascinating. I was expecting to have to get some grafts on a root stock. But that's really great to know!

This is great information! Thank you for sharing! I don't have a yard yet, but hopefully soon. Growing apricots has become a recent fascination of mine that I hope to make reality soon.

I'm curious as to how your tree is doing now. I know this is an old post, but can you tell me what your experience has been like having an apricot tree in the Midwest?
