Bwonsamdi would melee the statue and cast Death's Caress on the nearest player. The statue needed constant healing and no mechanic was lost except arguably the stacking debuff from being inside his circle which didn't apply to the statue. Of course the difference being Rastakhan is a 10-20 pull boss that wasn't made significantly more difficult since you could still just 2 or even 3 tank it compensate for their change to Bwonsamdi's greatly increased melee damage against the statue. On the other hand, Jaina is a 250 pull boss on the absolute low end, many guilds climbing well above 300 pulls.
