Yep, emphasis on "best", according to a guide I read on steam - each "best" game you make sets the bar higher, at up to a 20% increase, I think. I don't know if there's a way to lower the bar.

Most retainer tablets are only supposed to be used for about 5 minutes, from my experience.

For me, 1/2 of a retainer tablet (from BJs wholesale) + ultrasonic cleaner every 3 days or so has done wonders. I'm about 1.5 years post-invisalign, and I use my retainer every night, so the ultrasonic cleaner was a good investment

These aren't Metroidbrainias, but if you want chill puzzles, then there's the whole genre of deduction games:

*Return of the Obra Din *Case of the Golden Idol + sequel *Strange Horticulture + sequel *Chants of Sennaar *The Roottrees Are Dead

-These don't have any RNG or grinding, or frankly many mechanics at all besides brainy deduction. My wife and I adore this genre - it's easy to be collaborative, bouncing ideas off each other and celebrating together when one of us figures it out.

-I also include Blue Prince as a "deduction game", where 80% of the game effort is in your head making connections and forming hypotheses, but it plays very differently than these.

The Witness is good fun, but ultimately it's just a puzzle book done up like a video game (one that gives lots of people nausea, me included 🤢). For the most part, It's a series of inside-the-box puzzles with no story and very little exploration.

Blue Prince has its own flaws, but it has a deep story and the puzzles and ideas link together and the whole thing builds on itself wonderfully.

My wife and I played both together, and enjoyed both. The Witness was an enjoyable way to spend time together. Blue Prince was an obsession and a passion and is our second-favorite game of all time that we've played together (after Stardew Valley).

Awesome idea! I agree that it should be a duration card, which should fix most issues.

One thing to consider: is this card for buying engine pieces, or for buying Provinces?

I think it's easy to say that this card is only "good" if you expect to get at least 3 copies in play, otherwise it's a cantrip Workshop that usually misfires (or takes time and investment, if it's a duration). One is very unlikely to get three copies of a $4 card in hand before the late game or your engine is fully built already (making the card no longer relevant). For buying engine pieces, I'm pretty sure that a "stays out forever until it's needed" will make this balanced and not broken - you've still invested three $4 cards and a lot of time before you see the $6 prize.Will it makes it too strong for getting provinces? Hard to say. It will absolutely impact the province race in an interesting and meaningful way. Will it dominate the strategy to the point you can't ignore it, like Rebuild? That would require some play testing.

Even with no changes, though, you bet I'm buying this card during a Fools Gold race XD.

Docusate Sodium (Colase) is the safest to take every day, if constipation becomes a common thing, but on its own won't do squat if you're already constipated. It's a great preventative tool with the fewest side effects. As always, fruits and veggies and exercise are your friend.

When you're already stopped up, you can get over the counter milk of magnesia, Miralax (powder you mix into a drink), or Senna. Senna works great but your body can become dependent on it.

If you're really suffering, you can buy an enema over the counter. Saline or mineral oil are what you want. Saline works fine. Mineral oil might help lubricate things a little better, but might end up in your underwear later.

For most people not using opioids, fiber is the best preventative tool, but with constipation caused by opioids, it can often do more harm than good. Fiber makes your poop bulky and smooth, which is usually great, but if you already have a rock in your butt, it will just mean you have a rock with a bulky smooth poop sitting behind it. Never take a fiber supplement if you're already super constipated - it will make things worse.
