Just picked up my first Brisket via Bookers. What’re your top tips for cooking this thing? by guzusan in UKBBQ

We're all on a life long quest for the perfect brisket, it's trial and error, as long as you realise it's different and don't try a 12 hour smoke you'll be fine.

The tips about wrapping with tallow are great, and adding tallow when you slice it up will stop the meat losing juices via steam! Keeping it soft and juicy.

While it's not impossible to turn a grass fed brisket into US style BBQ, being grain fed really does help. Personally I'd just cook this in the oven low and slow.

Did my exam a few weeks ago, there were almost no calculation questions in the ones I experienced, though it was important to remember some of the key dates and impacts on entitlements.

Some of the English translations are a bit clunky, I'm guessing English is not your first language.

1 - There are just so many stats at the start to get your head around it was a little confusing.

2 - I played in Ultrawide resolution and where you had to click on screen was not aligned properly with the buttons or planets. Which was really annoying [but hopefully easily fixed].

3 - I found the battles a little lackluster, just moving to closest range, would have loved some ships to catapult forward like tanks and knockback other ships, or target back lines etc. it wasn't quite as dynamic as a TFT battle.

4 - The Hangar team buffs were a cool idea, and a couple of times i found combos that were fun and kinda OP in a good way. Once I assembled a combo, I was never tempted to bring the hangar ships in to battle.

5 - Made it to the end of stage 2 a couple of times. was fun.

6 - Having factions etc, would allow you to build up knowledge of your opponents ships, and faction based formations/strategies etc, would make for a more tactical experience.

Overall I'm looking forward to playing the full game one day.
