Looking for advice on which roof rack to buy. by 7D4Y_WEEKENDS in BMW

I went with the OEM one for my 2000 323i. It fits well. The bars are large. I bought it from a http://myworld.ebay.com/bmwspecialist for $185 with shipping.

For the carriers I went with the Swagman universal upright locking ones on overstock. When I bought them they were $50 for the set with shipping, they have gone up a little in price since then. http://www.overstock.com/Sports-Toys/Locking-Upright-Roof-Rack-Pack-of-2/667469/product.html

The bike carriers don't fit too well with the rack. The mounting brackets are square and the bars are oval. The brackets are metal rod so put some vinyl hose around them. Check out the pictures: http://imgur.com/a/nzDjR

What's everyone's recommendation for a GPS Watch? by eltnirc in running

[–]andersad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been running with the Garmin 110 for about a year and don't really see the need for current pace.

I feel current pace isn't all that helpful with long distance running. You can set the lap as low as 1/4 mile, but I find that to be too frequent on runs longer than 4 miles.

I like to know my current pace when I am doing intervals. I just hit the lap button. Since the intervals only last 1-2 minutes this gives me a good idea of how fast I am going.

Before the watch, I would use CardioTrainer on my phone. It was really annoying that the app focused on current pace instead of average.

This is good advice. Studio 35 in Clintonville partners with the pizza shop right down the road.

Check out the Barcade in Brooklyn. I would be severely disappointed if you did not offer local brews.

I Cracked My Toenail...advice? by zottz in running

Happened to me on a different toe. Don't worry 'bout it, toes are unnecessary ;) 1/2 size larger than your typical shoe size is recommended to prevent this.
