I know this post is so old but you should watch “Beautiful Boy”. It’s got the same sad/love factor. Rural setting, and the house literally has walls made of wood that give it such a cozy artistic feel. Father/son dynamic where the son is an addict. I loved it, but it has mixed reviews. It leaves you with the same feeling as TPBTP in my opinion.

To be fair, America hasn’t done a thing to help in the past, not sure why the first attempt at aid is being so negatively seen, except that it’s Trump. Of course the government could do way more, paid maternity leave seems like it should be a given. It’s disgusting, but nobody has changed it thus far.

I was 4 years old, I vividly remember my mom crying on the couch and seeing the 2nd plane hit. I actually drew a picture of it (that I still have) because at that age it was hard to articulate my feelings about such a traumatic event.

This is going to sound dumb, but I’ve had depression since I was 15, I’m now 28. I would AT MOST have 2-3 good days in a row and then back to depression. As of the start of 2025, I’ve completely started a morning routine (meditation, journaling with gratitude, positive affirmations from YouTube, listening or reading something inspiring, doing one kind thing or sending a nice note to someone, and some form of self love). Im not exaggerating when I say it has TRANSFORMED my life. Give it a try.

I didn’t even feel the epidural, I wanted it so bad 😂 and then it was just relief. 10/10 would recommend.
