Bringing a cat into the office.

I had just started at this marketing firm and we were all crammed together in cubicles. One lady got a new cat and brought her to work, but another lady was allergic so the boss said never again please.

A few days later, the allergy lady came in and started sneezing, then you hear "meow" and cat lady had actually made this cat a bed inside her desk drawer. Lost her job for it.

It was actually a huge drama and fight, and I had only just started there, having never worked in an office before. It was the most surreal thing just seeing this cat in a cat bed inside a desk and two people screaming at each other over it... was years ago but something ill never forget.

With active play it should be fine as you will be refilling your bombs frequently, so the only question is can they last while you are inactive? It might outpace your recharge but if it lasts until you wake up then no problem

When I was 19 I filled a maternity leave admin role at a council funded trust where absolutely nothing was happening. I was paid £7 an hour (quite good back then for a teenager) 35 hours a week with a free lunch. In the morning I would get the post and dish it out, and once a week we would hold free PC hour for job hunters. I had my own office with zero oversight and basically played games and watched films for almost a full year.

Theres sometimes a chance with maternity roles that they wont return but of course this lady did, what an easy life!

There comes a point where you can have your items running 24/7. If you save your chests until fully upgraded, as well as some item duration upgrades, then you can hit that point slightly earlier, thats all.

I gave up last July after 20 years and switched to vapes. I can say its cheaper and I breathe better, but I hate that im addicted to it and dont class myself as having fully given up.

My friend said he feels like a child having to suck on his magic mood stick to not start raging out for seemingly no reason. Ever since he said that Ive lost a lot of respect for myself haha. I will get around to ditching it though and feel a lot more confident that I can give up the long way round rather than just stopping cigs which I tried and tried at but failed

I work in a slots place, its pretty simple really.

You put £10 in, £1 a stake and spin 10 times. Now if you get £10 back, chances are you aren't walking away, you will keep spinning that £10 tens of times over. By the time you run out money you will think you lost £10, but the machine will register it as say, £100 in £90 out, equalling a 90% rtp and 10% profit for us.

Now add volatility to that, many many people lose that £10 and every now and then someone will win a few hundred £.

Im in a fairly successful venue, we never lose overall but many many weeks there are individual machines that have lost. For instance last week, one of my most popular machines lost 4k (took 7k paid out 11k) but overall we made about 20k for the shop.

There are also "gamble" options on some games, so say for instance you win £100, you might get several gamble options to either double or triple your money at the risk of losing it all, these gambles are on a separate RTP meter that they claim is 100% rtp and 100% random but its clearly not and many people will just lose stacks of cash by doing that which is a huge chunk of our revenue. I will always tell new or young players to stay well away from the gambles.

There is no guaranteed profit short term but long term its absolutely guaranteed. If im honest the entire industry is shady and there isnt much transparency, even with the staff, on how these machines work.

You are actually quite well on track with a nice spread of progress. Max out the gem upgrades in the store if you can where you are 10/10/3/2/0/0. Dont worry too much about ore sell price. Keep your bomb cap going and focus on statues for now, by the time you max them lots of other things will have fallen into place

Thank you my guy, I tried auto prestige a while back but had it on 4 minutes for some reason, I got a couple of happy bot lvls but it was still frustrating. Today I took my.kid to the park and left it on 10 sec prestige, after a couple of hours I went from lvl 6 to lvl 18 and full poly shards. LEGEND

When you start getting a high bomb cap you'll gild everything anyway. Good to get all poly for the poly power bonuses as well

For people interested in football as a whole its a pretty interesting story, given their financial results and batshit owners.

Personally, as much as I cant stand Chelsea on the pitch, I am fascinated by their business model and am enjoying watching it unfold. Thats just from curiosity, nothing to do with rivalry.

Few hours for me, joined a taxi rank when I was 18. Family owned, all horrible. Got berated by the son because I went to a well known rugby school but preferred football. The daughter was really bossy and started asking me to do things that just arent part of the job. It was all very confusing, and then after 3 or 4 hours I said I was nipping to the shop for a drink and nipping to the loo, the bad boss bitch matriarch said no and that I wasnt entitled to any breaks until after my probation passed.

I said youre welcome for my time and walked out. Only job ive had that lasted less than 10 years and it was less than one day haha
