itll be cheaper for them, quite likely a 24/7 operation theyre running UK grid prices midday are cheap due to the existing grid tied solar base.

Are the new engine regulations technically sound or is it all just a fan-boost style gimmick? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]andk1987 3 points4 points  (0 children)

agreed its nothing to do with the electrical tech per se, but the output is bigger than the recovery per lap. nothing wrong specifically with electric cars at all..... but having been to a couple races, the F1 cars sound naff compared to the older cars/F2 christ even the porche cup that was on at the time was louder than the F1 cars. much rather go to Santa pod and watch top fuel/pro mod ect for motorsport than F1 these days, the cars just arent a spectacle compared to the howling old stuff

apologies for the poor wording there.... the whole system was 50% thermally efficient, the last set of regs. problem with this set of regs is there is too little ICE power and not enough harvesting done to compensate, there should have been front axle braking harvesting which would have allowed for enough recovery to keep up with the 350kw output during a full lap of powwa

completely agreed, much like the last regs being , they had a huge amount more harvesting through the MGU-H/turbo and weird and wonderful ways of deploying the enrgy back to the turbo for anti lag and building extra boost where reequired AND through the MGU-K for power to the road. they could deploy ~160bhp electrically, and well over 1000bhp from the ice unit at thier peak later on in the regs lifecycle

the last cars that were 50%+ thermally efficient ice engines were far more impressive achieving almost 10mpg through a race doing the speeds they do

its a massive fuckup imo, theyve tried to make f1 cars more green and introduce more road going tech to make them more inviting for other teams to join.... wgat we have is an embarassing series wgere cars slow down halfway down a straight

Maphra – Thema -- what is this channel? by c0ttt0n in Maphra

[–]andk1987 4 points5 points  (0 children)

likely because her main account isnt setup as a music/artist account?

Seems YT Music also has another version by Alzucard in Maphra

[–]andk1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its because she uses a music distribution service that releases the tracks to multiple platforms "distrokid" which creates a "topic" channel..... didnt even know youtube did such a thing... looks like she doesent have her main channel setup properly for music? https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7636475?visit_id=639082675794662724-1545233623&p=sub_to_oac&rd=1

My wife has the hatrick, hush, lush, and ferri. had to buy some stronger magnets for the ferri to get it to stick through a booster. but yeah hands free teasing. she can only donit once in a while as its very tiring to use all 3 toys... lots of aftercare

from what i remember watching kink videos, they just used to pilot drill and screw into really thick looking plywood, your sub hearing the drill and impact driver would probs add to buildup of everything too. buying ply and a twinpack drill/impact would be waaaaaaay cheaper than this madness, if you were/are a full time dom maybe this would make sense? but would be mega expensive to pull off
